Job summary

IKEA Gruppe in Malaysia seeks a seasoned Risk & Compliance Lead to oversee safety, security, and compliance for store operations. You will integrate risk frameworks into processes, promote a safety culture, and ensure adherence to IKEA standards and local regulations.

Lead incident investigations, audits, and training while coordinating with Emergency Response Teams. This role requires 10+ years in a compliance role and strong leadership, communication, and risk management skills.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in the relevant health, safety, or engineering field.
• At least 10 years in a similar/compliance role with 3 years in management.
• Strong communication, leadership and problem solving abilities.
• Deep knowledge of health & safety, risk assessment and incident investigations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee store safety, security and compliance within IKEA standards and local laws.
• Lead risk assessment, mitigation and continuous improvement actions.
• Develop and monitor safety operating procedures and systems.
• Create training materials and run audits for safety and compliance.
• Coordinate emergency response and crisis management activities.
• Promote a safety culture and educate partners on conduct and regulations.
• Lead incident investigations and liaise with internal and external audits.
• Represent IKEA with external agencies and manage regulatory changes.
• Identify fraud risks and strengthen controls across store operations.
