Job summary

IKEA Malaysia is seeking a Risk, Control & Compliance Executive/Manager to protect people, assets and reputation while enabling growth. You will lead risk and compliance initiatives, support safety and security programs, and drive governance across the business.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in risk, compliance, safety, or related functions, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably in retail or customer-focused settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Risk, Compliance, Safety, Security, or related functions.
• At least 3 years in a leadership role, ideally in a retail or customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate risk management and compliance programs across functions.
• Develop, implement, and maintain risk management frameworks and controls.
• Lead investigations and root cause analyses for incidents and losses.
• Support safety, security, and business continuity programs and compliance training.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews.
• Build stakeholder relationships and monitor regulatory updates and trends.
