Job summary

Responsibilities

• Own the product roadmap across consumer, business, and API data products.
• Set strategy, drive delivery, and build the product team including leadership roles.
• Define metrics by segment and hold teams to outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (BNM, eKYC, PDPA).
• Lead cross‑functional collaboration with Engineering, Data, Sales, and Compliance.

A fintech and data intelligence company in Malaysia, best known for operating a licensed Credit Bureau regulated by Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) and the Ministry of Finance (MOF). It provides financial tooling, infrastructure, and risk intelligence solutions for businesses and individuals across Malaysia and ASEAN.

Job Summary

This is a hands‑on senior product leadership position responsible for owning the product strategy and execution across company's portfolio of consumer, business, and API‑based data products. The GM will set the roadmap, drive delivery, and build the product team while ensuring compliance with Malaysia’s regulated financial ecosystem.

Job Description

• Own the product roadmap across market segments: consumer, commercial, and enterprise.
• Set product strategy across all product lines and decide where the portfolio invests.
• Drive the roadmap end to end: discovery, prioritisation, delivery.
• Work within regulatory and compliance requirements (eKYC, consent, PDPA,BNM) as a core part of product decisions.
• Set the direction for how AI is applied across the products.
• Ensure products share data, identity, and consent so the portfolio works asone system.
• Partner with Engineering, Data, Sales, and Compliance to ship on time.
• Build and manage the product team, including the Lead Product Manager.
• Define the metrics for each segment and hold the team to outcomes

Job Requirement

• Senior product leadership experience with a track record of shipping.
• Experience in fintech, credit, data, or another regulated domain.
• Strong data and commercial judgement across both B2C and B2B/enterprise.
• Practical understanding of where AI adds value and where it doesn't.
• Hands‑on, comfortable with ambiguity, able to build structure from scratch.
• Clear communicator who can align teams and write actionable strategy.
• Familiarity with the Malaysian financial ecosystem (CCRIS, credit bureaus, BNM) is an advantage.
• Experience taking an API/platform product to market.
• Background across more than one of consumer, commercial, and enterprise.
• Experience standing up or scaling a product function.
