Job summary

Morgan Philips, partnered with a leading financial institution, seeks a Head of Rewards and Performance in Kuala Lumpur to own the end-to-end performance cycle and total rewards strategy. You will report to the Chief HR Officer and drive goal-setting, calibration and year-end reviews, translating priorities into measurable objectives with business leaders.

You will shape pay benchmarks, job grading and salary structures, partner with Finance on budgeting and scenarios, and oversee annual pay

Qualifications

• 8+ years in performance management and total rewards, with 3–5 years in senior leadership.
• Experience presenting reward proposals to senior leadership or board committees.
• Degree or postgraduate qualification in HR, Business, Economics or related field.

Responsibilities

• The end-to-end annual performance cycle: goal-setting, calibration and year-end review.
• Turning company priorities into clear, measurable goals with business leaders.
• Using performance results to inform promotions, development and succession decisions.
• Modernizing frameworks, competencies and feedback practices to raise the bar on performance culture.
• Total reward strategy across base pay, short- and long-term incentives and benefits.
• Pay benchmarking, job grading and salary structure reviews.
• Compensation budgeting and scenario modelling in partnership with Finance.
• Annual pay review and bonus cycles, plus retention plans for critical talent.
• Policies, frameworks and controls across performance and reward, aligned with regulatory requirements.
• Workforce data input for sustainability and annual reporting, working with Finance and Sustainability teams.
