Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a dynamic Head of IT to steer the Group's technology function and guide its digital transformation journey. This hands-on, strategic leadership role focuses on turning technology into practical solutions that boost efficiency, strengthen operations, and support business growth across the organisation.

The successful candidate will lead IT operations, drive security, architecture, and infrastructure, while aligning IT initiatives with business goals and managing vendor

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in IT or related field.
• 8+ years IT experience with at least 3 years in leadership.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, cybersecurity and operations.
• Experience managing IT projects, vendors and budgets.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing multi-site or multi-outlet environments advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Group's IT operations, infrastructure and technology services.
• Develop and drive IT strategies aligned with business goals.
• Oversee systems, networks, cybersecurity, data protection and IT infrastructure.
• Drive system improvements, automation and digital transformation initiatives.
• Lead IT projects, system implementation and technology upgrades.
• Identify and implement technology solutions that improve business efficiency.
• Manage IT vendors, budgets and external technology partners.
• Establish IT policies, controls, security standards and business continuity plans.
• Lead, coach and develop the IT team.
• Partner with HODs and senior management to deliver business-focused IT solutions.
