Job summary

AT&S AUSTRIA TECHNOLOGIE & SYSTEMTECHNIK (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. is seeking a seasoned Head of HR Business Services to lead Malaysia’s HR service delivery across payroll, time management, compensation & benefits, HR administration, and employee services.

The role focuses on process standardisation, digital transformation, and compliance with local legislation. You will build a scalable, customer-focused HR service organisation, establish governance and performance metrics, and partner with Finance,

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of HR experience.
• Expertise in Payroll & Time Management, HR People Services, and International HR processes.
• Experience in process optimisation, HR systems implementation, and compliance management.
• Knowledge of Payroll & Time Management processes and compliance requirements.
• Strong understanding of HR operations, employee services, and international HR practices.
• Proficiency in HRIS and digital tools.
• Analytical and reporting skills for HR data-driven decisions.
• Project management skills for process improvements and digitalisation.
• Strategic thinking to align HR services with organisational goals.
• People leadership to develop a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the HR Business Services organization in Malaysia with governance, standards, and metrics.
• Oversee payroll and time management to ensure accurate salary processing and compliance.
• Direct compensation and benefits programmes to ensure competitive rewards and governance.
• Oversee employee lifecycle administration across onboarding, changes, and off-boarding.
• Lead global mobility and international assignments ensuring compliance with immigration and tax.
• Drive process excellence, digitalisation, and automation across HR services.
• Provide strategic operational HR guidance to business leaders and stakeholders.
• Develop a high-performing HRBS team and scalable service organisation.
• Support HR digitalisation projects in Payroll, People Services, and International processes.
• Ensure effective interface management with Talent Management and Recruiting.
• Handle escalated cases to guarantee quick resolution and high service quality.
