Job summary

AmBank Group is seeking an experienced sustainability leader to spearhead our sustainable finance agenda, drive net-zero ambitions, and strengthen responsible banking practices across the Group. You will lead development and execution of the Sustainability Strategy, embed ESG into financing and risk decisions, and engage with regulators and industry partners to stay ahead of trends.

This leadership role requires 15+ years in banking or related fields, with strong knowledge of Sustainable

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field.

Responsibilities

Lead development and execution of the Group's Sustainability Strategy and Roadmap.
Drive the implementation of our Net Zero Transition Plan and Sustainable Finance Framework.
Partner with business and risk teams to embed ESG and sustainability considerations into financing, lending, investment, and decision-making processes.
Advise on sustainable finance transactions and complex ESG-related matters.
Shape and enhance sustainability policies, frameworks, and governance standards across the Group.
Engage with regulators, industry bodies, NGOs, and ecosystem partners to stay ahead of emerging sustainability trends and regulatory developments.
Champion climate risk, responsible lending, green financing, transition finance, and ESG initiatives throughout the organization.
Drive thought leadership through research, analytics, and industry collaboration.
