Job summary

Apex Securities Berhad is recruiting a Manager, End User Computing & Application Support to lead EUC, service desk and application support for the group. You will manage workstation estates, software deployment, security remediations and asset lifecycle, while coordinating with cybersecurity and application teams.

The role requires 7–10 years in IT with at least 3–5 years in a leadership capacity, and strong ITIL awareness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline.
• 7–10 years of relevant IT experience in EUC, service desk and business application support.
• At least 3–5 years in a team lead or managerial capacity.
• ITIL Foundation or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
• Experience with Windows desktop environments and Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end EUC lifecycle: devices provisioning, config, deployment, refresh and decommissioning.
• Maintain endpoint standards and software deployments for consistent computing environments.
• Coordinate patching, antivirus/EDR and security remediation with Cybersecurity teams.
• Oversee IT asset inventory, lifecycle status and secure disposal on offboarding.
• Manage Level 1–2 service desk and incident/request handling within SLAs.
• Oversee application support, upgrades, testing and post‑deployment support.
• Drive incident, problem and change management with root‑cause analysis.
• Monitor vendor performance and conduct periodic service reviews.
• Ensure IT controls, governance and audit support for EUC and applications.
