Job summary

Apex Equity Holdings Berhad in Malaysia seeks an experienced Manager for End User Computing & Application Support to lead EUC device lifecycle, service desk operations and application support across the group. You will drive endpoint standards, security alignment, asset management and vendor coordination to ensure a reliable, secure user experience.

The role requires strong leadership, ITIL awareness, and a proven track record in enterprise support and governance within a financial services

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline.
• 7–10 years of relevant IT experience in EUC, service desk and app support.
• 3–5 years in team lead or managerial capacity with vendor oversight.
• ITIL Foundation or equivalent certification is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-user computing lifecycle across desktops, laptops and mobile devices.
• Maintain endpoint standards, OS, software deployments and security posture.
• Coordinate patching, antivirus/EDR and remediation with Cybersecurity teams.
• Inventory, tagging, tracking and secure disposal of EUC assets.
• Oversee Level 1/2 user support, SLAs, channels and escalation paths.
• Coordinate incidents with tech teams and maintain user communications.
• Provide Level 1/2 support for business applications and track defects.
• Maintain runbooks, troubleshooting guides and knowledge articles.
• Support application upgrades and post-deployment production support.
• Manage incidents, problems and standard service requests; drive PM actions.
• Oversee IT asset, software and license management and compliance reviews.
• Coordinate user access provisioning and periodic access reviews.
• Manage vendor performance and contract reviews for EUC and support services.
• Deliver monthly service performance reporting and stakeholder updates.
• Ensure IT controls, governance and audit support across GDT environment.
