Job summary

TNG Digital is seeking a Head of Compliance to lead an independent, risk-based compliance framework across AML/CFT, regulatory engagement, and compliance risk management in Malaysia. You will partner with Product, Tech and Business teams to embed compliance into product design and scale across geographies.

This role reports to the Board and maintains regulatory transparency with Bank Negara Malaysia, building a high-performing, commercially aware compliance function to enable growth with

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience in compliance / AML within fintech or payments industries.
• Strong track record engaging with regulators including audits and regulatory submissions.
• Certification in AML/CFT programmes (e.g., MAMSB GOCO modules) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead an independent enterprise-wide compliance framework aligned to AML/CFT/CPF requirements.
• Lead regulatory engagement with Bank Negara Malaysia and other authorities.
• Oversee AML/CFT/CPF programme including CDD/EDD, monitoring, screening and regulatory reporting.
• Embed compliance into product design, operations and partnerships to enable fast growth.
• Manage compliance risk across value chain and third parties.
