Job summary

TNG Digital, part of TNG Digital Group, leads regulatory compliance for the Credit Division's financing business in Malaysia. As the sole compliance lead, you will build a scalable, regulator-ready framework that supports growth and adheres to legal, regulatory and Shariah requirements.

You will partner with regulators, Shariah advisors and stakeholders, leveraging AI and automation to enhance monitoring, reporting and regulatory change management.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in regulatory compliance, risk management or Islamic finance.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian regulatory and Shariah governance requirements.
• Experience building or enhancing compliance frameworks, monitoring programmes and advisory processes.
• Ability to translate regulatory needs into practical business controls.
• Familiarity with AI, automation and data analytics to enhance compliance processes.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain the Credit Division’s compliance framework, including policies, controls and monitoring plans.
• Provide practical compliance advice on products, customer journeys, pricing, disclosures, campaigns and contracts.
• Ensure regulatory and Shariah requirements are embedded into product structures and processes.
• Monitor regulatory and Shariah developments and coordinate timely changes.
• Conduct risk-based compliance monitoring and drive remediation to closure.
• Coordinate regulatory and Shariah engagements with regulators and advisors.
• Prepare compliance reporting and governance communications.
