Job summary

Qualifications

• 8–10 years in collections or credit management.
• 3+ years in a managerial role.
• Experience in hire purchase, auto financing or consumer lending.
• Knowledge of Hire Purchase Act 1967.
• Strong analytical and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English; Mandarin or Tamil an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end collection operations across delinquency and recovery.
• Develop strategies to hit monthly/quarterly recovery targets.
• Mentor a team of Senior Executives and Executives with KPIs.
• Monitor delinquency trends by bucket and escalate as needed.
• Oversee collection tools, AI chatbots, WhatsApp notices, and mobile payments.
• Ensure compliance with Hire Purchase Act 1967 and internal standards.
• Coordinate weekend calling, field visits, and branch services.
