Job summary

TS Shipping & Forwarding Sdn Bhd in Sabah seeks an experienced Haulage Planner to optimise transport and logistics operations from our KKIP, Sepanggar, Kota Kinabalu base.

You will plan daily container haulage, assign trucks, monitor movements and prepare planning reports, working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on reliability and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in haulage, transport, logistics or fleet planning is preferred.
• Strong coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and manage daily operational priorities.
• Organised, responsible and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily container haulage movements efficiently.
• Assign trucks and drivers according to job requirements and availability.
• Coordinate container collection and delivery with customers, ports and depots.
• Monitor daily truck movements, job progress and fleet utilisation.
• Follow up on delayed, outstanding or incomplete haulage jobs.
• Monitor empty container returns and container due dates.
• Coordinate and resolve daily operational issues, including delays and breakdowns.
• Ensure all job, trip and container movement records are updated accurately in the logistics system.
• Prepare daily haulage planning and movement reports.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Haulage Planner to join TS Shipping & Forwarding SDN BHD on a full-time basis. This is a strategic position based in KKIP, Sepanggar, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, where you will play a crucial role in optimising our transport and logistics operations. As Haulage Planner, you will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling freight movements, ensuring efficient resource utilisation, and maintaining service excellence across our haulage network.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily container haulage movements efficiently.
• Assign trucks and drivers according to job requirements and availability.
• Coordinate container collection and delivery with customers, ports and depots.
