Job summary

ChipSeng Heng Enterprise Sdn Bhd, based in Chemor, Perak, Malaysia, is seeking a Logistics Planner to plan, schedule and coordinate daily truck movements for haulage operations, and allocate trucks and drivers based on customer orders.

Based at Chemor, you will liaise with customers and workshop teams to ensure timely delivery, maintain safety standards, and handle last-minute changes while complying with regulations.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain, or equivalent.
• 1-2 years working experience in haulage, trucking, or logistics planning (fresh graduates may be considered for junior roles).
• Strong knowledge of trucking operations, routing, and scheduling.
• Proficient in MS Office and logistics/transport management systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily truck movements for haulage operations.
• Receive and process job orders from customers, ensuring timely allocation of trucks and drivers.
• Arrange and assign drivers based on availability, route, and compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate with customers to confirm job orders, delivery status, and any special requirements.
• Coordinate with workshop/maintenance team to ensure vehicle readiness and minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, transport regulations, and company SOPs.
• Proactively resolve operational issues, delays, or driver shortages to minimize service disruptions.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operations reports for management review.
