Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a logistics coordinator to plan and schedule daily truck movements for haulage operations. You will receive and process job orders, allocate trucks and drivers, and communicate delivery status to customers.

The role requires 1–2 years in haulage or logistics planning, strong routing knowledge, and proficiency in MS Office. Bahasa Malaysia and English are required; Mandarin is a plus. Candidates may enjoy transport and accommodation allowances as per policy.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain, or equivalent.
• Minimum 1–2 years of working experience in haulage, trucking, or logistics planning (fresh graduates may be considered for junior roles).
• Strong knowledge of trucking operations, routing, and scheduling.
• Good communication skills (English & Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an advantage to liaise with China counterpart).
• Proficient in MS Office and logistics/transport management systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills, able to work under pressure and handle last-minute changes.
• Team player with high level of responsibility and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily truck movements for haulage operations.
• Receive and process job orders from customers, ensuring timely allocation of trucks and drivers.
• Arrange and assign drivers based on availability, route, and compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate with customers to confirm job orders, delivery status, and any special requirements.
• Coordinate with workshop/maintenance team to ensure vehicle readiness and minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, transport regulations, and company SOPs.
• Proactively resolve operational issues, delays, or driver shortages to minimize service disruptions.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operations reports for management review.
