Job summary

DT MACHINERY & HARDWARE (M) SDN. BHD. in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a diligent warehouse/store assistant to support daily operations in the hardware store and warehouse.

You will receive, inspect, and stock goods, pick and pack orders, operate forklifts and pallet jacks, and help maintain a clean, safe working environment. Candidates residing in Cheras or nearby are preferred. No prior warehouse experience required; basic forklift skills are a plus and the ability to work both independently and

• Physically fit and able to lift and handle heavy items.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Warehouse or hardware store experience is an advantage but not required.
• Preferably residing in Cheras or nearby areas for easier commuting.
• Basic forklift operating skills are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily operations and general tasks in the hardware store.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against delivery documents.
• Arrange, organize, replenish, and move hardware products and stock in designated storage areas.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for delivery or collection.
• Check product types, quantities, and conditions to ensure order accuracy before dispatch.
• Perform stock counting, inventory checking, and maintain accurate stock records.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely for loading, unloading, and moving goods.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, safety, and organization.
• Support team members with day-to-day store operations and perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
