Job summary

Centific in Penang is seeking a Hardware Test Automation Engineer to join its growing hardware and software validation team. You will automate tests, extend Python frameworks, and integrate test workflows across Linux, Windows, and macOS in a fast-paced lab environment.

You will build device drivers (ADB, serial/UART, SCPI/VISA), link test stations to a shared data pipeline, and contribute to dashboards tracking product metrics.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development with hardware or system test automation.
• Experience writing robust Python code using industry best practices.
• Experience automating lab instruments and analyzing test data.

Responsibilities

• Automate tests and analysis for V&V activities with validation engineers.
• Extend Python test frameworks for device control and data analysis.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and deploy to Linux/Windows/macOS.
• Build and maintain device drivers (ADB, serial/UART, SCPI/VISA).
• Create dashboards and data pipelines for test metrics and station health.
