• Handle carpentry, maintain, repair, install as needed with Engineering Team.
• Build or repair pipes, fittings and fixtures for water supply and drainage systems.
• Maintenance and repair of plumbing systems; fix leaks and clear drains.
• Install and repair door locks, handles, handrails and related hardware.
• Service sewerage, water lines and disposal systems.
• Diagnose plumbing/electrical issues; clean and handle tools safely.
• Repair wood structures such as partitions, doors and furniture.
• Perform miscellaneous minor repairs (toilet seats, bulbs, holes in walls).
• Place orders for items via Engineering Office.
• Follow hotel policies, safety and security procedures; report hazards.

Job Responsibilities

• 1. Handle all carpentry works which includes maintaining, repairing, installing and/or constructing as required on the job with the Engineering Team.
• 2. Build/install/repair/ assemble pipes, fittings, and fixtures for water supply, drainage, waste, and sewerage systems.
• 3. Perform maintenance and repair works on plumbing systems, including fixing leaks, replacing damaged pipes, and clearing clogged drains.
• 4. Install and repair door locks, handles, handrails, and related hardware.
• 5. Maintain and service sewerage systems, water lines, and other disposal systems.
• 6. Diagnose plumbing and minor electrical issues; clean, maintain, and ensure proper handling of tools and equipment.
• 7. Repair, maintain, construct wood structures eg partitions, doors, furniture, and similar items throughout the property.
• 8. Does miscellaneous minor repairs eg tightening loose toilet seats, changing light bulbs and patching holes in walls.
• 9. Placing order for items through the Engineering Office for job requirements.
• 10. Comply with hotel policies as well as safety and security procedures. Report any maintenance problem, safety hazards, accidents/injuries.
• 11. Performs any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Skill Requirement

Basic skills in plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, appliance installation, painting and masonry repairs. Knowledge in tools for a job and relevant experience using said tools.

Requirement

• 2. At least 1–2 years of working experience in building maintenance, preferably in office buildings or commercial properties.
• 3. Basic knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, and electrical wiring works.
• 4. Hands-on, practical, and able to troubleshoot maintenance issues independently.
• 5. Responsible, reliable, and able to respond promptly to maintenance requests.
• 6. Physically fit and able to carry out manual repair work.
• 7. Willing to work overtime, weekends, or public holidays as per duty roster.
• 8. Candidates without the above qualification but with relevant experience would be considered.
