Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support daily operations across Airbnb properties. You will handle plumbing, electrical, carpentry tasks and general repairs to keep facilities safe and functional.

Responsibilities include inspections, quick responses to urgent issues, coordination with external contractors, and maintaining records of repairs and costs. This role offers potential overtime in a growing hospitality platform.

Qualifications

• Experience as handyman or maintenance technician.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry and general repairs.
• Able to use basic hand and power tools.
• Able to work independently and solve problems quickly.
• Good communication and customer-service skills.
• Willing to travel between Airbnb properties.

• Willing to travel between Airbnb properties.


• Valid driving licence is an advantage.


• Previous hotel, Airbnb, homestay or property-management experience is an advantage.


• 6 days per week, depending on operational requirements.


• Must be contactable for urgent maintenance matters.


• Occasional after-hours / emergency call-outs may be required.
