Job summary

Lim Seong Hai Capital Berhad is seeking a hands-on Handyperson to join the Property Management team in Kuala Lumpur. The role involves day-to-day maintenance and repair to keep building facilities and common areas safe, functional and well maintained.

Key duties include routine maintenance, basic electrical/plumbing work, attending to requests, periodic inspections, and coordinating with external contractors when needed. Weekend/holiday work may be required.

Qualifications

• SPM/Certificate/Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Building Maintenance or related
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing and general maintenance works
• Troubleshooting and minor repair abilities
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair works for building facilities and equipment

• Conduct periodic inspections and preventive maintenance activities
• Monitor the condition of building facilities and report maintenance issues

• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management from time to time

About you

Minimum SPM, Certificate or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Maintenance or related disciplines.

At least 2 years of relevant experience in building or facilities maintenance.

Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing and general maintenance works.

Able to troubleshoot and perform minor repair works independently.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Willing to work on weekends and public holidays when required.
