Job summary

CBRE Malaysia is seeking a hands-on handyman to maintain and repair assigned properties in Kuala Lumpur. You will perform plumbing repairs, carpentry, and general maintenance, and install new equipment following established procedures.

The role requires you to adhere to safety standards, keep accurate records of work performed, and coordinate with supervisors. You should have 1-2 years of relevant experience and be able to lift heavy loads and work with MS Office tools.

Working Hour

Monday to Friday - 7.30am to 4.30pm

Saturday - Half day

What You’ll Do

• Perform all plumbing repairs, carpentry, handyman and maintenance on an assigned property or building.
• Install new construction equipment in accordance with established procedures.
• Ensure proper installation of fixtures and systems. Maintain existing installations within the scope of practice

for safety purposes.

• Maintain accurate records regarding work performed including time spent working on projects.
• Ensure compliance with applicable state and federal regulations concerning water treatment systems.
• Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.

• Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.
• Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.

What You’ll Need

• Minimum SPM/SKM or diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience as handyman.
• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
• Have experience in material arrangement and logistic.
