Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Data Center Engineer to support server and network infrastructure operations in a fast-paced data center. You will perform rack-and-stack installations, cabling, hardware troubleshooting, and incident response with exposure to HPE servers and VMware.

Requirements include a IT diploma/degree and 5 years in data center or IT support, plus hands-on experience with server/network equipment, iLO/iDRAC and ticketing systems.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in IT, networking, or related field.
5 years of data center or IT infrastructure experience.
Hands-on server/network installation and cabling.
Knowledge of IP addressing, VLANs, and switch ports.
Experience using ticketing systems such as ServiceNow.

Responsibilities

Perform rack-and-stack server and network equipment installation.
Install/manage fiber and copper cabling and verify connectivity.
Assist with server landing, OS reloads, and basic config support.
Support hardware replacements and incident response in data center.
Update asset records, serial numbers, and locations in systems.
Work with L2/L3 teams to resolve outages and perform maintenance.
