Job summary

Brightstar Computer is seeking a capable technician to join the team in Kuala Lumpur. The role involves installing and repairing computer components, and working with both laptop and desktop systems to assemble and configure hardware.

You will diagnose issues, test assembled machines, and ensure compatibility and proper power across components. A background in a computer store environment and a passion for hardware are essential for success.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year working experience in a Computer store.
• Minimum SPM and above.
• Passion with computer hardware.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair the physical components of computers
• Familiar with both laptop and desktop computers
• Assemble computers according to a predetermined design or create custom models and configure hardware
• Ensure each component is fully powered and compatible with every other component
• Technicians diagnose problems and make repairs
• Testing each built machine to ensure IT functions appropriately.
