Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a technician with a passion for computer hardware to maintain and repair PCs in a store setting. The role requires hands-on experience with laptops and desktops, plus the ability to assemble and configure hardware according to specifications.

Candidates should have at least a secondary education (SPM or equivalent) and a demonstrated interest in computer hardware. This full-time position offers opportunities to work with a range of components and build reliable systems

Qualifications

• At least 1 year working experience in a computer store.
• Minimum SPM and above.
• Passion for computer hardware.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair the physical components of computers.
• Be familiar and work with both laptop and desktop computers.
• Assemble computers according to a predetermined design or create custom models and configure hardware.
• Ensure each component is fully powered and compatible with every other component.
• Technicians diagnose problems and make repairs.
• Testing each built machine to ensure IT functions appropriately.
