Job summary

Brightstar Computer in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a hands-on technician to install, repair and assemble computer hardware in a retail setting. The role involves working with both laptops and desktops, diagnosing issues, and ensuring components are compatible and powered correctly.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience in a computer store, holds SPM or higher, and shows passion for computer hardware.

• Minimum SPM and above.
• Passion with computer hardware.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair the physical components of computers.
• Familiar with laptop and desktop computers.
• Assemble computers according to a predetermined design or create custom models and configure hardware.
• Ensure each component is fully powered and compatible with every other component.
• Technicians diagnose problems and make repairs.
• Testing each built machine to ensure IT functions appropriately.
