Job summary

FOOD & BEVERAGE RESOURCES PG SDN BHD is seeking a Halal Compliance Auditor to conduct internal Halal audits across Penang and Kulim outlets, issue corrective action reports, and follow up to maintain the Halal Assurance System.

The role supports Halal certificate applications, maintains typhoid vaccination records, manages Halal documentation, and coordinates with JAKIM/JAIS during audits to ensure compliance with Malaysia Halal Standards.

Qualifications

• Must have Halal certificate.

Responsibilities

• Carry out internal Halal audits across multiple outlets in Penang and Kulim
• Issue CAR and conduct subsequent follow-ups for maintenance of Halal Assurance System
• Assist on Halal certificate applications
• Assist on typhoid vaccination and record keeping
• Assist on Halal documentation and maintain Halal file accordingly
• Entertain JAKIM/JAIS officer(s) upon auditing and enforcement
• Check for compliance with procedures according to Malaysia Halal Standard requirements
• Ensure Materials Management complies with food safety requirements as stipulated by MOHG's Safe & Sound practices (FLHSSE) and ISO 22000
• Make suggestions on improving effectiveness and efficiency of the company
• Work with EHS Team on Supplier Audits of Food & Beverage vendors
