Genting Malaysia Berhad in Kuala Lumpur invites applications for a Gym Operations Intern. You will assist daily gym operations, supervise equipment use, and help members with basic guidance on exercise techniques.

This on-site internship provides hands-on experience in a fast-paced leisure environment. The role requires being enrolled in a relevant program, strong communication, teamwork, and a proactive attitude.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Sports Science, Sports Management, Physical Education, Fitness, or related field.
• Passionate about fitness, health, and customer service.
• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Responsible, disciplined, proactive, and have a positive attitude.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Physically fit and capable of assisting with daily gym operations.
• Basic knowledge of gym equipment and exercise techniques is an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is an added advantage.
• Able to communicate effectively in both Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Internship period must be 3 months and above.
• Possess CGPA 3.0 and above

Responsibilities

• Ensure members perform exercises using the correct techniques.
• Monitor the use of gym equipment to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Provide basic first aid and assistance in the event of minor injuries or emergencies.
• Maintain Cleanliness and Equipment
• Administrative Duties
• Operate the public address (PA) system for daily announcements.
• Monitor Safety Compliance
• Equipment Care
• Ensure all equipment is safe, clean, and in good working condition.
• Daily Operational Support
