Jora Malaysia is seeking a friendly Hotel Receptionist to be the first point of contact for guests, handling check-ins, check-outs, and inquiries with a warm, professional demeanor. You will manage reservations, coordinate with housekeeping, process payments, and maintain accurate records, ensuring a clean, welcoming lobby and smooth daily operations for a growing hotel group.

Fresh graduates are welcome; English and Bahasa Malaysia proficiency is preferred; training and opportunities for career

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel reception, customer service, retail, or hospitality is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Additional languages are an advantage.
• Friendly, responsible, and well-groomed.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office and hotel booking systems are an advantage).
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a warm and professional attitude.
• Handle check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
• Answer phone calls, emails, and guest enquiries.
• Manage reservations and room availability.
• Process payments and issue receipts accurately.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and Maintenance to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
• Resolve guest concerns professionally and elevate issues when necessary.
• Maintain accurate guest records and daily reports.
• Ensure the front desk and lobby are clean, organized, and presentable.
