Job summary

SalesWorks Group is seeking an experienced Business Manager to work closely with the Market Director as a strategic partner and operational lead in Kuala Lumpur. This hands-on role is central to driving growth, improving performance, and delivering operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years' experience in a similar role combining operations, strategy, and business development.
• Strong analytical, planning, and project management skills.
• Demonstrated experience supporting senior leadership or General Manager-level roles.
• Proven ability to implement new initiatives and drive cross-team collaboration.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-moving, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of coordination for the General Manager across multiple functions
• Drive and support business planning, including executive management reporting and strategic goal setting.
• Identify and track key business metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Partner with the Business Development team to scope, assess, and launch new business opportunities or market expansions.
• Lead or support the implementation of pilot projects, ensuring alignment with broader company goals.
• Assist in building and refining go-to-market strategies, partner proposals, and service frameworks.
• Review existing internal processes and team structures to identify inefficiencies and gaps.
• Monitor service delivery performance, recommending changes where necessary to enhance productivity or quality.
• Provide high-level oversight and support across key accounts and projects.
• Support client account management teams and ensure alignment between client expectations and internal delivery.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver outcomes that meet quality and timeline standards.
