Job summary

Maukerja Malaysia is seeking a self-driven Digital Marketing Specialist – SEO to manage international digital growth. The role targets junior to mid-level professionals who can work independently to promote a website and drive user acquisition.

You will own website assessment, strategy development, campaign execution, and performance optimization across SEO, digital marketing, and analytics. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience and a track record of promoting online platforms.

Qualifications

1–3+ years of hands-on digital marketing experience preferred.
Strong interest and practical experience in SEO, website promotion, and user acquisition.
Able to independently develop and execute digital marketing activities.
Able to identify how to promote a website and generate traffic.
Comfortable researching independently and solving problems without constant guidance.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategies to increase website traffic and online users.
Identify the most suitable channels to promote the website.
Research target audiences, competitors, keywords, communities, and potential traffic sources.
Drive new visitors and registered users to the platform.
Develop strategies to improve visitor-to-registration conversion.
Test different marketing approaches and identify what works.
Continuously monitor performance and improve results.
Conduct keyword research and identify SEO opportunities.
Implement on-page SEO and basic technical SEO improvements.
Develop content strategies to increase organic search traffic.
Monitor Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
Analyze keyword rankings, organic traffic, user behavior, and conversions.
Identify opportunities to increase search visibility.
Research competitors and their SEO strategies.
Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns.
Explore social media, communities, forums, content marketing, affiliate marketing, partnerships, and other relevant channels.
Identify new sources of website traffic and user acquisition.
Develop promotional campaigns to increase registrations and paid users.
Support conversion rate optimization (CRO).
Conduct A/B testing where appropriate.
Monitor campaign performance and ROI.
Track website traffic, user acquisition, registration, conversion, and revenue performance.
Analyze marketing results and identify areas for improvement.
Prepare regular performance reports.
Make marketing decisions based on data rather than assumptions.
Take ownership of results and continuously improve performance.
