BizAdvisor Digital is seeking a Business Development Specialist for an on-site role in Kuala Lumpur. You will identify and pursue new business opportunities, manage client relationships, and drive growth by promoting digital transformation, financial advisory, and fundraising services.

The role emphasizes building strategic partnerships, leading the sales cycle from outreach to close, and staying ahead of market trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• 2–4 years in Business Development, ideally in Professional Services, Financial or B2B Services, Banking and Fintech.
• Experience selling accounting, advisory, SaaS, or consulting services is an advantage.
• Meticulous, detail-oriented, with strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Fluent in English; Mandarin or Bahasa Malaysia is a plus.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Self-driven, target-oriented, and results-focused.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across SMEs and corporate clients.
• Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve sales and growth targets.
• Promote the firm’s services including digital transformation, financial advisory, and fundraising support.
• Establish partnerships, alliances, and collaborations with other businesses or industry stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients and manage the full sales cycle.
• Monitor market trends, competitor positioning, and industry developments.
• Identify and enter new markets with market entry strategies.
• Provide insights to management on new service opportunities.
• Work with advisory team to identify companies suitable for fundraising.
• Act as the bridge for clients seeking capital by positioning our financial advisory services.
