Job summary

Standard Chartered in Kuala Lumpur seeks a seasoned Group Resilience Business Manager to coordinate strategy, governance and change activities. The role drives the operating rhythm, budgeting, workforce planning and executive communications for the Group Resilience function.

You will work with Finance, HR and partner teams to deliver disciplined, transparent management information and timely actions across priorities. Hybrid working options may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years in business management, strategy, governance, COO office, or related roles in complex organisations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for senior stakeholders.
• Experience with financial management, headcount tracking and governance forums.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with disciplined follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Group Resilience priorities into clear plans, actions and deliverables.
• Maintain operating rhythm, governance, financial and workforce routines.
• Prepare executive-level communications for senior stakeholders.
• Lead governance materials and ensure timely, evidence-based updates.
• Manage budgets, forecasts and headcount plans with cross-functional teams.
• Escalate risks, issues and dependencies and ensure timely follow-through.
• Support workforce planning and location footprint discussions.
• Ensure risk controls and regulatory expectations are embedded into routines.
