Job description

This search is being conducted exclusively by Morgan Philips Executive Search on behalf of our client who is a fast-growing global manufacturer and distributor in the healthcare and industrial products space. Following a significant acquisition that expanded its manufacturing footprint and distribution reach, the company is now focused on capturing synergies from the deal, scaling its go‑to‑market approach, and strengthening its brand position in specialist product categories.

The company operates multiple manufacturing facilities internationally across 20 countries, with key operations spanning Asia, Europe, and America.

Role Summary

The Group CFO will own the organization's global financial strategy and performance, ensuring fiscal discipline, regulatory compliance, and alignment with corporate growth objectives. This is a pivotal role in enabling scalable growth, sharpening capital efficiency, and building long-term value for shareholders and investors.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Financial Leadership

• Shape and execute the company's global financial strategy in line with long-term corporate direction.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and planning cycles to inform key strategic decisions.
• Surface opportunities to grow revenue, streamline costs, and improve efficiency across all business functions.

2. Reporting & Financial Analysis

• Own timely, accurate delivery of core financial statements and management reporting.
• Partner with the finance team to deliver performance insights and trend analysis for leadership and the Board.
• Maintain strict adherence to accounting standards, regulatory obligations, and internal controls.

3. Capital Strategy & Investments

• Manage the company's capital structure — debt, equity, and working capital.
• Assess M&A, divestiture, and investment opportunities to support growth and maximize returns.
• Oversee capex governance and alignment with business priorities.
• Lead financial readiness for a potential public listing and/or further acquisitions.

4. Risk & Compliance Oversight

• Build and maintain risk management frameworks covering market, credit, liquidity, and operational exposure.
• Ensure full regulatory compliance and robust internal controls to protect company assets.
• Oversee compliance training, regulatory response, and issue resolution.

5. Legal & Governance Risk

• Identify and mitigate legal risk exposure across the group.
• Review and negotiate key contracts and agreements to safeguard company interests.
• Partner with legal counsel on regulatory matters and dispute resolution.
• Manage governance processes, including Board administration and shareholder communication.

6. Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary financial point of contact for investors, banks, and analysts.
• Represent the company in financial negotiations and investor engagements.
• Communicate financial performance and strategic direction clearly to the Board and executive team.

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business; MBA or equivalent advanced qualification preferred.
• CPA or equivalent professional certification.
• Extensive senior finance leadership experience, ideally within manufacturing, healthcare, or related regulated industries.
• Strong track record in financial strategy, corporate finance, and business transformation.
• Sharp analytical and financial modelling capabilities.
• Strong leadership presence and communication skills.
• Comfort operating in high-growth, entrepreneurial environments — experience professionalizing finance systems and processes is a plus.
• IPO or M&A experience strongly preferred.
• Multi-country/global finance exposure, with familiarity across different accounting frameworks
