Job summary

YBS International Berhad, a fast-growing public-listed company, seeks a Financial Controller for its Penang operations. The role leads all finance and accounting functions across the Southern region, ensuring financial discipline, strong controls, and performance insights in support of growth and M&A initiatives.

The ideal candidate has 10–15 years in manufacturing/EMS finance, with 5+ years in leadership, and solid knowledge of MFRS and taxation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, ICAEW) preferred.
• 10-15 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in leadership roles within manufacturing/EMS.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis for southern Malaysia operations.
• Strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance with MFRS and audit requirements.
• Partner with plant managers and heads of functions to drive profitability and strategic initiatives (including M&A).
• Consolidate financial performance for group reporting and manage cash flow and working capital.
• Lead, mentor and develop finance teams across sites and ensure timely, accurate reporting.
