Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Group Accountant / Finance Manager to lead a hands-on, commercially minded finance function in a dynamic group environment. You will oversee accounting, financial reporting, consolidation and budgeting for the Group and its subsidiaries, while providing strategic support to senior management and the Board.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA/CPA/CIMA or equivalent) or a Degree in Accounting/Finance.
• MIA membership is compulsory.
• 3–5 years of relevant working experience in accounting, finance, audit, corporate finance or a related field.
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good understanding of financial controls and risk management.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the accounting and financial reporting functions of the Group and its subsidiaries.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts and financial reports.
• Coordinate the consolidation of financial statements for the Group.
• Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records and compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal policies.
• Establish and maintain effective financial controls, procedures and accounting processes.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, bankers and other professional advisers.
• Lead the preparation of audit schedules and supporting documents for the annual audit.
• Prepare and monitor the Group's budgets, cash flow forecasts and financial projections.
• Supervise and guide the finance and accounting team.
• Monitor the Group's cash position and liquidity requirements.
