Job summary

Crane Worldwide Logistics LLC is seeking a candidate in Bayan Lepas, Penang, Malaysia to serve as a liaison between operations teams and Crane Worldwide network, providing shipment tracking information and driving KPI development.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years Logistics experience and at least 3 years of supervision, with knowledge of ground transportation operations and related safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Organizational Development, Transportation or related field or equivalent work experience is required
• A minimum of 5 years Transportation/Logistics experience preferred
• A minimum of 3 years supervisory experience preferred
• Experience with ground transportation operations including DOT, OSHA and all related safety regulations

Responsibilities

• Work as intermediary for communication between operations teams and Crane Worldwide network
• Work with operations team to provide tracking information as requested by the client
• Development of department operational KPI's
• Proactively identify and meet customer and stakeholder needs
• Escalate all issues with a shipment immediately to the client to insure prompt resolution
• Development of department operational KPI's
• Responsible for creating and monitoring goals and performance reviews of direct reports
• Oversee, mentor and assist other team members as needed
• Manages team in process and continuous improvement efforts
• Other duties as assigned
