Job summary

Intel Corporation in Malaysia, Penang, is seeking a Logistics Operations Manager Transportation to oversee inbound, interplant, and outbound material flows, including dock operations for site startups. You will monitor KPIs, drive continuous improvements, and partner with cross-functional teams and external providers to ensure reliable product deliveries worldwide.

This hybrid role ( Malaysia) requires 4+ years in logistics, SAP/TMS proficiency, and strong data-analysis skills, with a contractor

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or related discipline.
4+ years of logistics operations or 3PL management experience in dynamic conditions.
Proficiency in SAP/TMS and 3PL/freight management; strong metrics tracking.
Strong knowledge of transportation operations, compliance, and end-to-end execution.
Advanced data-analysis skills for operational improvements.
Basic knowledge of Malaysian customs and regulations.

Responsibilities

Own and manage logistics operations for inbound, interplant, and outbound materials.
Provide dock operations ownership to support site start-up and ramp.
Monitor KPIs, compliance, and operational standards.
Analyze processes and data to identify inefficiencies and improvements.
Track and resolve shipping, warehouse, carrier, and execution exceptions.
Manage critical logistics escalations to minimize impact.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external providers.
Use analytics to develop cost, speed, quality, and reliability improvements.
Provide regular updates to senior leaders on schedule and risk.
Support startup of Assembly Test and Wafer Sort activities.
