Job summary

ib vogt, a leading developer of PV plants and storage projects, seeks a Regional Grid Solutions Manager based in Kuala Lumpur to lead engineering and design of grid connections for medium to large solar projects in the Asia Pacific region.

You will coordinate with external consultants, sub-contractors, utilities and internal teams to forecast work, develop schedules and address technical issues to ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Academic degree in electrical engineering or renewable energies with focus on energy technology.
• Minimum 5 years in related field.
• International experience in grid connection of power plants.

Responsibilities

• Participate in projects from conceptual phase to operation across Asia Pacific.
• Design engineering and grid connections for projects.
• Coordinate with external engineering consultants and sub-contractors.
• Coordinate with utilities and stakeholders for technical discussions.
• Produce documentation for management, clients, lenders and advisers.
