Job summary

FEDERAL PACKAGES SDN. BHD. seeks a Graphic Designer to prepare artwork for packaging orders, based on samples or customer input, and to secure customer approval before blocking. The role requires maintaining detailed drawing records and coordinating with block suppliers for fabrication.

You will revise artwork per customer requests, manage ECO updates, and perform related tasks as directed by senior management. Fluency in Mandarin is a plus, and strong color/layout sense is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design or related field.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Knowledge of printing & packaging design processes is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare new artwork for orders from Marketing based on samples, drafts or information from Sales.
• Obtain full approval from customer or sales personnel before fabricating the actual size of the printing block.
• Create a Master/Printing Card with full details of box designs and new numbers; obtain confirmation from Sales.
• Liaise with block suppliers to fabricate printing blocks and ensure proper documentation.
• Maintain and repair drawing records (soft and hard copies) and manage ECO updates.
• Carry out other tasks as required by Superior or Top Management.

Job description

Prepare new artwork when receive new orders from Marketing.

Artwork preparation is base on sample box, draft drawing or disk provide by customer or get verbal information from Salesman.

Completed artwork needs to get full approval from customer or sales personnel before fabricate the actual size of printing block.

Prepare a new Master/Printing Card with full and detail information of boxes design with new number, get confirmation from sales personnel.

Liaise with block supplier to fabricate printing block.

Graphic Designer responsible conducts final checking to buy off all new printing block before setting.

To maintain the new drawing when there is an ECO.

Graphic Designer needs to revise all artwork per customer request.

The handling of the revision need to done with extra caution to avoid mistake.

Graphic Designer responsible to maintain and repair those wear and tear printing block. Is Graphic Designer responsible to keep all the drawing record and information (In soft copy and hard copy).

To carry out any other job functions as and when require by Superior or Top Management.

Requirements

Education & Experience

Diploma/ Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design or related field.

1-2 years of relevant experience (fresh graduate are encourage to apply)

Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite

Knowledge of printing & packaging design processes is an advantages.

Strong sense of color coordination & layout aesthetics.

Language Requirements

Proficiency in Mandarin would be an added advantage.
