About the role

We are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our team in Kuching, Sarawak. As a full-time Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for conceptualising and producing engaging visual designs that support the company's marketing and branding initiatives.

Job Scope / Responsibilities

• Developing and designing visually appealing graphics, illustrations, infographics, and other visual assets for various marketing materials, including print and digital platforms
• Collaborating with the marketing team to understand project requirements and translate them into effective design solutions
• Maintaining brand consistency and ensuring all design work aligns with the company's branding guidelines
• Staying up-to-date with design trends, techniques, and software to enhance the overall visual impact of the company's marketing materials
• Providing regular updates on project progress and meeting deadlines
• Participating in brainstorming sessions and contributing creative ideas to improve the design process
• Working with client, brief and advise them regarding design style, format, print production

Job Requirements

• A diploma or degree in Graphic Design, or a related field
• Minimum 1 year of professional experience in a graphic design role, preferably within the printing or publishing industry
• Proficient in using design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Strong conceptual and creative thinking skills, with the ability to translate ideas into visually compelling designs
• Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for typography, colour, and layout
• Good problem-solving and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
