Job summary

BANNERMAX PRINTING in Kuantan, Pahang is seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join our team on a full-time basis. You will transform client visions into compelling visuals for print and digital media, ensuring brand alignment and high-quality output.

The role requires a strong portfolio across print materials and branding, proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, and a keen eye for typography, colour, and layout. You will collaborate with clients, production teams and managers to deliver on time.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Graphic Designer in printing/branding environment.
• Advanced proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating print materials, branding and marketing collateral.
• Knowledge of print production processes, file prep, colour management and specs.
• Excellent visual communication, typography and layout skills.

Responsibilities

As a Graphic Designer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining BANNERMAX PRINTING’s reputation for delivering exceptional design solutions across our diverse range of printing and branding projects. Key responsibilities

• Create visually engaging and on-brand graphic designs for print and digital media, including banners, promotional materials, packaging and marketing collateral
• Collaborate with clients to understand their design briefs, objectives and brand guidelines, ensuring all deliverables align with their vision and requirements
• Develop initial design concepts and mood boards, presenting creative ideas to clients and stakeholders for feedback and approval
• Prepare design files for print production, ensuring all specifications meet printing standards and quality requirements
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of design trends, printing techniques and industry best practices to continually enhance the quality of our output
• Work with project managers and production teams to ensure timely delivery of design projects whilst maintaining high quality standards
• Source and manage design assets, including fonts, imagery and stock materials, ensuring compliance with licensing requirements
• Assist in the refinement of designs based on client feedback and revisions, demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness to evolving project needs
• Support the marketing team with the creation of promotional materials and visual content as required

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience working as a Graphic Designer, ideally within a printing, branding or marketing environment
• Advanced proficiency in industry-standard design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign)
• Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of design work, including print materials, branding projects and marketing collateral
• Excellent visual communication skills with a keen eye for detail, colour theory, typography and layout design
• Knowledge of print production processes, including file preparation, colour management and printing specifications
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients, colleagues and cross-functional teams
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to translate client briefs into creative solutions that meet both aesthetic and commercial objectives
• Time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
• Familiarity with design principles and current design trends within the printing and branding industries
• Preferably, experience with video editing software, web design or additional design tools would be advantageous
