Job summary

Prima Warna Sdn Bhd invites a skilled Graphic Designer to join our team in Shah Alam. You will design across digital and offline media, delivering creative ideas with strong attention to detail.

Requires a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Graphic Design and a portfolio showing solid fundamentals. Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign is essential. Immediate start is preferred, with on-site work and a monthly salary from RM2,500 depending on experience.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Gather information and requirements before starting each design project.
• Interpret briefs and develop creative concepts, rough layouts and visual directions.
• Create designs for digital and printed materials, including promotional banners and posters.
• Produce layouts with typography, color, imagery, sizing and composition.
• Present concepts and rough layouts for review and approval.
• Amend based on feedback and prepare final artwork in required sizes and specs.
• Coordinate with external agencies, printers, vendors when required.
• Work with MD, Marketing and other departments to meet project requirements.
• Maintain branding consistency across materials.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Support team with other design tasks.

We are seeking a new Graphic Designer to join our team. You will be designing a wide variety of things across digital and offline media. To be successful in this position, you’ll be a self-starter, capable of delivering brilliant creative ideas, and show amazing attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather relevant information, materials and requirements before starting each design project.
• Interpret project briefs and develop suitable creative concepts, rough layouts and visual directions.
• Create designs for digital and printed materials, including promotional materials, banners, posters and other company-related projects.
• Produce effective layouts by applying appropriate typography, color, imagery, sizing and visual composition.
• Present design concepts and rough layouts for review and approval.
• Make amendments based on feedback and prepare final artwork in the required sizes, formats and specifications.
• Coordinate with external agencies, printers, vendors and other service providers when required.
• Work closely with the Managing Director, Marketing and other departments to meet project requirements.
• Maintain consistency with the company’s branding and visual standards across all materials.
• Manage multiple projects effectively and ensure assignments are completed within the required deadlines.
• Support the team with other design-related tasks as required.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, Multimedia Design or a related creative field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in graphic design, creative design or a similar role.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, solid design fundamentals and attention to detail.
• Good understanding of design principles, including layout, typography, colour and visual composition.
• Passionate about design and open to exploring emerging technologies and AI-powered tools to enhance creative work.
• Creative, detail-oriented, willing to learn and able to solve design-related problems effectively.
• Able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Candidates who can start work immediately will be given priority.
• Possession of own transport is an added advantage.
