Job summary

Eastsun Superior Print (M) is seeking a skilled Graphic Designer with diploma or equivalent experience to conceptualize, design, and produce a range of illustrative materials. Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and QuarkXPress is required, with familiarity in printing procedures. Fluency in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia is preferred.

Computer literacy and MS Excel capability are expected. Responsibilities include handling CT P processes, coordinating with customers and production,

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Graphic Design or minimum 3 years experience in related field.
• Extensive experience & knowledge of Color boxes design principles & designing skills.
• Demonstrate ability to conceptualize, design, and produce a variety of illustrative materials.
• Familiar with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Quark Express.
• Preferably some knowledge of printing procedures and requirements.
• Have a generally good command of English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia and writing skills.
• Computer literate and able to operate Microsoft and Excel programs.

Responsibilities

• Ability to handle and maintain Computer to Plate(CTP) System , artwork amendment and expose printing plate.
• Interact with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products & services.
• Maintain a good revision and record of customer’s artwork for easy retrieval.
• To verify / buy off artwork before email to customer and expose printing plate.
• Coordinate with Customer Service or Production Section on artwork and printing plate as to meet production schedule.
• Produces Quality work to Customer and press section.
• Ensure Digital Proofer , CTP Machine and plate exposure are well maintained and regularly serviced.
• Ensuring the QMS documentation & records was implemented & maintained.
• Perform shift work / overtime if deem necessary.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
