• Set up and enable the latest AMD Instinct platforms.
• Participate in current and next generation product definition and address design challenges.
• Involve in design, simulation, emulation, validation and triage/debug.
• Test functionality, electrical, power and performance to specifications.
• Brainstorm and debug issues to meet product features specifications.
• Involve hardware and software validation on a daily basis.

Graduate Trainee-Product Development Engineer (E&E or Computer Eng Graduates)

AMD is looking for a highly talented engineer to join our Data Center GPU team as a Graduate Trainee working on platform designs, validations, and solutions to help our customers WIN with AMD Instinct systems. This engineer will work with validation team to meet product development or sustaining milestones. Opportunity to learn simulation, emulation and validation during pre-silicon and post-silicon phase to deliver the hardware and software technologies of next generation AI/HPC computing platforms.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Depending on the hob role, you may work on activities below:

Setting up and enabling the latest AMD Instinct Platforms Design

Participate on the current and next generation product definition and address the key design and methodology challenges.

Participate in projects involving from design, simulation, emulation, validation and/or triage/debug

Test and validate the functionality, electrical, power and performance of the Instinct Platforms to its product features specifications.

Brainstorm and debug of any issues or challenges arises to meet product features specifications.

Involve in both hardware and software on daily basis to perform the validation works.

Simulate, emulate, debug and validate product features includes Device Power, Device Thermal, High Speed IO (PCIe Gen5, DDR5, USB), GPU and CPU

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

Good communication

Self-starter with the ability to multitask across several projects.

Experience with statistical analysis tools and techniques: DOE, JMP and etc

Software involved PYTHON, C++

Hardware equipment involved Oscilloscope, Multimeter, Thermal Solution, VNA

AI/HPC software stacks, ROCm, TensorFlow or Pytorch is a plus with regards to AI application
