Job summary

Asteel Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Graduate Trainee to undergo structured on-the-job training in Sales and Marketing. The trainee will be exposed to customer engagement, business development, sales documentation and market analysis.

Fresh graduates with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or related field are encouraged to apply. Training will be provided with opportunities to travel and meet clients; strong communication in English and Bahasa Melayu is required.

The Graduate Trainee will undergo structured on-the-job training in Sales and Marketing. The trainee will be exposed to customer engagement, business development, sales documentation and market analysis.

Responsibilities

1. Assist in identifying and pursuing new sales and business opportunities.
2. Support the development of new client relationships and maintain good relationships with existing customers.
3. Assist in preparing quotations, proposals and other sales-related documents.
4. Follow up with customers on enquiries, quotations and sales activities.
5. Assist in providing after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction.
6. Gather customer feedback and information on market trends and competitor activities.
7. Accompany the Sales and Marketing team for client visits and business meetings.
8. Participate in exhibitions, trade shows and marketing events when required.
9. Provide regular updates on sales and marketing activities.
10. Support the implementation of the company’s Quality 11. Management System and perform other business-related duties assigned by the management.

Requirements

1. Fresh graduates with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or any other related field are encouraged to apply.
2. No prior working experience is required, as training will be provided.
3. Outgoing, energetic and interested in developing a career in Sales and Marketing.
4. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Able to communicate effectively in English and Bahasa Melayu.
6. Computer literate with basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
7. Possess a valid driving license and own transport, as the position requires travelling to meet clients.
8. Willing to travel and work towards assigned sales targets.
