Job summary

AMD is seeking a Product Development engineer in Penang, Malaysia to collaborate with Product Development Groups on bring-up and ramp of new products, including planning, debugging, and managing test programs for next-generation AMD microprocessors.

The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy and reliability of assignment results, and contribute to test pattern development, optimization for mass production, and analysis of failures for test improvements. Hybrid work setup available.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Perl, Ruby, shell script.
• Good understanding of Linux, Unix or Windows OS.
• ATE (Automatic Test Equipment) test experience.

Responsibilities

• Validate new product features, test conditions, test methodologies, and test contents during first silicon bring-up.
• Post Silicon Bring up of Test patterns leading to optimization for mass production enablement.
• Analysis of part failures leading to test improvement.
• Test pattern & test flow development, debug, test and characterization.
