Job summary

Unisem Malaysia offers a 12.5‑month structured Graduate Engineer training programme, providing hands-on exposure across semiconductor assembly and test operations. The rotation spans Production, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality Control, Technology Development, and more, with real-world assignments alongside experienced engineers.

Fresh graduates with engineering or science degrees will gain core technical foundations and professional skills, with a clear path to a specialized engineering role

Qualifications

• Fresh graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
• Mandarin proficiency in speaking and writing will be an added advantage.
• Computer literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn and strong interest in developing a career in engineering.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a 12.5-month structured training and rotation programme across engineering departments.
• Gain hands-on experience across different engineering functions within semiconductor assembly and test operations.
• Rotate through areas such as Production, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality Control, Technology Development, and more.
• Work closely with experienced engineers and gain practical exposure to manufacturing processes and improvement activities.
• Develop technical, analytical, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills through real-world assignments.
• Gain exposure to different engineering functions and discover the area that best matches your strengths.
• Upon completion, progress into a specialized engineering role.

We are looking for fresh engineering and science graduates to join us as Graduate Engineers. This is a permanent position designed to provide structured training and practical exposure across different engineering functions, helping you build a strong technical foundation and prepare for your future specialized engineering role. Incumbents are to participate in a series of rotations assignment across different engineering departments or functions in span of 12.5 months.
