Job summary

Infomina Berhad in Malaysia seeks a Project Manager for IT infrastructure and Disaster Recovery. You will plan, deliver and govern government IT projects spanning data centre, servers, storage, network, security and cloud, while designing DR/BCP solutions and running drills.

You will lead vendor and stakeholder management, manage budgets and change control, and ensure timely delivery with minimal downtime. A strong track record in public sector projects is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in IT infrastructure and/or Disaster Recovery.
• At least 3 years managing Malaysian government/public sector projects from inception to completion.
• Proven delivery track record on time, within budget, and within scope without delays.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead end-to-end delivery of government IT infrastructure projects (data centre, servers, storage, network, security, virtualisation, hybrid cloud).
• Lead design, implementation and testing of DR solutions, including DR site setup, replication, backup, failover and failback with defined RTO/RPO.
• Plan and execute DR drills, prepare runbooks and reports; close findings to maintain DR readiness.
• Establish baselines, enforce change control, and track milestones and budget to avoid delays and cost overruns.
• Manage infrastructure migrations, installations and cutovers within change windows to minimise downtime.
• Run project governance per government requirements; provide progress reports and audit readiness.
• Build relationships with government project owners, IT operations and internal management.
• Manage hardware/software vendors and subcontractors; monitor SLAs and performance.
• Negotiate scope, changes and commercial terms; manage contracts and payment milestones; minimise penalties.
