Businesslist in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Backend Software Engineer to design, deploy, and operate scalable Go services on AWS. You will build reliable, high-performance systems using Go, Kubernetes, Kafka, and Couchbase, with a focus on throughput, scaling, and reliability.

The role emphasizes ownership from design to production, evidence-based decisions, and robust testing. It is a permanent, hybrid position located in Bangsar South, KL with 3 days WFH.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 3 years of professional backend software experience in cloud-native environments.
• Hands-on Go (Golang) production backend development.
• Experience building high-throughput, scalable services on AWS.

Aufgaben

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Go.
• Build scalable, distributed, event-driven systems handling thousands of TPS.
• Design interfaces, data flows, and patterns for independent deployment and scaling.
• Identify bottlenecks and optimize performance and concurrency.
• Operate containerized workloads with Kubernetes and manage cloud resources.
