Job summary

Kloudius Services Sdn Bhd is seeking a Backend Software Engineer to design, develop, deploy, and operate scalable backend services on AWS using Go, Kubernetes, Kafka, and databases. You will build reliable, high-performance systems that process thousands of transactions per second while maintaining quality and reliability.

The role emphasizes ownership from design through production, writing well-tested code, and delivering maintainable services.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of professional software engineering experience building and operating production backend systems.
Hands-on Go (Golang) production backend development.
Experience designing, building, and operating services handling thousands of transactions per second.
Experience deploying containerized applications using Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Go (Golang).
Build scalable, distributed, and event-driven systems capable of handling thousands of transactions per second.
Design service interfaces, data flows, and integration patterns for independent deployment and scaling.
Apply sound architectural principles and patterns to ensure maintainability and performance.
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, concurrency issues, and resource constraints.
